    Basement remodeling
    I want to make a room in the basement of my home. I picked up green board for the walls and have no idea of how to put it up; do I put the green side against the wall or is that the side I need to paint? Thank you for any help;

    Kennethrdt- This type of sheetrock is used where there is a chanch of mostuire getting to the sheetrock ,like a bathroom. Say when it is hung in a bathroom , ( The GREEN SIDE OF THE SHEETROCK ) is hung faceing out (TOWARDS INSIDE OF ROOM) How dry is your basement? IF your basement stays dry, no moisture problem ,then hang the sheetrock with green side out, (if dampness is present or at times , I would be inclined to turn it towards the wall . HOPE THIS HELPS ::::: F.B.E.
