Frigidaire dryer ignitor replaced, still won't burn.
Thanks to Hixton, I got my Frigidaire dryer apart and replaced the ceramic ignitor. Now it glows brite about 5 seconds everyminute. I can hear a click as it's turned off and on. But still no ignition. Also, and this is new, I can hear a sound just before the ignitor turns on like water and air being forced through a tube. It starts just before the ignitor glows and stops when it turns off. Just a thought, is it possible I broke the gas shut off valve and now it's closed even though it indicates open?
