So I'm 16 I've never had a "Normal" Period but lately its been off badly last month I was two weeks late and this month I'm about a week late and still waiting. I usually don't get to up-tight with worrying considering that I'm usually off the only diffrence is that this month I've been having more pregnancy symptoms than PMS symptoms maybe its partly knowing that I actually have legitiment reasons to worry I am sexually active and although we're usually EXTREMLY: careful; lately we've been getting a little caried away and careless... My breasts are sore, my nipples and around the outer edges of my brests mostly, I feel like crying at the smallest thing, I'm moody, I have strange food cravings but then when I go to eat it the smell almost makes me sick... which is another thing I usually have naueau about a week before I start my period exspecially when I'm hungry but I haven't this month... um... im having period-like cramps and some blunt pains around my hip-bones, I'm exhausted all of the time and I can't concentrate.

Know that as much as the thought scares me I need to take a pregnancy test but I'm wondering a couple of things:

First of all: Im not sure how far along I would be but would there be anyway if I was far enough along to take a test a week and a half after my missed period?

Second of all: I know that you're suppose to take them in the morning that's usually when they're most accurate so if I took a long nap and got about as much sleep in that as I do at night (I don't sleep very much... I get insomnia) if that would have the same results?

Third of all: If I'm not... is there anything else that could be wrong with me to keep my periods acting the way they do?. because they aren't normal and I usually have a lot of pain with them

What started this whole entire worried thing is that: and this is going to sound kind of gross but up inside of me yesterday the discharge was pinkish brown and today its kind of brown but a lot lighter... Me and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex . But I was wondering if that did by any chance yea if the whole entire period process can just stop like that?

Up until now we'd never actually had unprotected sex... but we'd deffinatly came closer than we should have...

Take the test. Based on what you have told us, I would say you could very possibly be pregnant. But I am not an expert, so take the test, and keep us iformed.

From all your signs you could well be , although the brown discharge could well be a sign that you are about to come on. You can work out how far you would be by the date of the first day of your last period, and count on till today , this will give you a date. You can take a test now up to 4 days before your due on . So do a test just to make sure if you're a week late I guessing you would be around 5 weeks pregnant so you would need to take folic acid if you choose to keep it, however you may not be, good luck I hope you get the result you are looking 4.
