    Thermal Out?
    Anyone know what this means? Also can you explain it in the simpliest form possible :D :rolleyes:

    You should know better then to ask an oblique question. This, in itself, thermal out, doesn't mean anything, or thermal out put is the only thing I can think of which is the heat going out.

    If you explain in what context you saw it maybe I can help you a little more.

    You migh mean "Thermal Cut out". It's generally a switch that when temperature exceeds a preset value, it opens. It may or may not be self-resetting.

    Hi Guys,

    Here's where I saw it;

    If the Intensity is high, the rate should be low, and leave the duration extremely low. This will preserve the duty cycle and not thermal out on you. If you need to increase the rate or duration, lower the intensity or the thermal protection will kick in. At full power and a long duration the lamp will only go a few seconds before it will thermal out.

    "Thermal Out" as you are seeing it mean "Overheat and shutdown."
