    Keyboard use freezes computer
    :mad: I'm sick and tired of using my on screen keyboard. Please help! If I press any keyboard button or sound button on my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop it freezes the computer up. Before Windows starts I can use the keyboard because I'm able to get into the set up and all, but not after windows has started. I've scaned my computer for viruses and ran the No-Adware.

    Have you contacted Dell support? Have you tried a system restore or repair?

    I had to do a system restore. I took it back 3 months because it's been like this for a while and I can't remember when it started... Everytime I'd hit a key on the keyboard the computer would freeze up. YAY I'm so glad it's fixed though.

    SCREW DELL FOR WANTING $40 JUST TO TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT... THOSE PEOPLE ARE NO HELP! I DID IT ALL BY MY LONESOME.

    I realized once I finally found that it was a CODE 19 that I had to do a system restore. I'm soooooo glad it worked too. I'd tried everything else.:) :D :D :D
