    Want to remarry
    HELP!
I was married in 04 filed for divorce out in CA in 06. As soon as I signed the papers I left and moved back to MN... after that he pulled the papers TWICE and never told me. I finally was able to get ahold of him and I asked WHEN WE WOULD FINALLY BE DIVORCED? He said Jan..
The problem is that I want to remarry to a man in the military before he leaves on deployment. If the divorce will be finalized through WI and I am planning on remarrying in TX will that matter? And also what is required for a court house ceremony in TX? Since neither of us are living there right now but that's his home state.

According to federal law, if one or both of the parties have been married before, the earlier marriage must have been ended by death, divorce, or annulment. Period.

You can not get legally married in the US if you are still married.

Until your divorce is final, you can not get married. If you did , it would ot be legal, since the previous marriage would void it
