Try to get written specifications from the bank, that will tell you exactly what is to be completed each day. If they haven't put together one then ask them for a copy of the other company's spec. (The company that last cleaned)

One thing that is required by most banks and I believe is the law in most States is; You must hold the Tellers' trash for 6 to 7 days. Then on the 7th or 8th day you then throw away the 1st days' trash. This is called the "trash rotation cycle" so that anything important that may have been thrown away is still secured in the bank building.

Pricing, by the hour or by square footage is difficult to tell you because competition varies around the country. We clean 12 Banks plus the branches and we provide full service EACH day (which is the normal) and we get between $.14 to $.21 per "cleanable" sq ft.

If you are strictly residential presently you have probably been using the hourly rate. Normally Commercial Cleaning is done by sq ft and then you give your prospect the total monthly charge including everything; all cleaning supplies, insurance, labor, over head, profit equipment costs, etc, All these must be included if you are not to loose your A~~.

Come back if you have more questions, I have been doing this for over 32 years, I have 3 commercial cleaning companies.

    Good luck,
    Stringer
