    Vista lazy,hard to wake it up.
    Intermittent problem.
    Upon returning to computer and moving the mouse, Vista will take forever to 'wake up'
    On occasion I've sat sliding the mouse for 2 to 4 minutes to wake it.

    I wouldn't use sleep if I were you, it is quite notorious for causing problems with Windows PCs. I suggest you use Hibernate, which saves your session to the hard drive and then shuts down the PC. When you start the PC again, your session is restored.
