Well let's see . She is going to make sure the Woodstock museum is built.

Beyond that ;as First Lady of Ark. She was tasked with improving the education of the state .Realizing that education is the key to success in life, under her leadership , Arkansas elevated it's rank in education from 49th in the nation, to 50th.

She made a killing in the commodities exchange cattle futures but she was not a particularly good real estate developer and kept sloppy records at a law firm she worked at .But she excelled at sequestering away FBI files of her and Bill's opponents .

As "Health Care Czar" she formed a committee to study the health care industry. On that committee there were no physicians. Instead, it consisted of a group of left wing university professors and social engineers. Her proposal was sent to the congress ( majority Democrat) and resoundingly defeated. Essentially, it was an attempt to nationalize 1/7th of the U.S. economy, and bring about a medical system patterned after such failed systems as once existed in the old Soviet Union.

She defended hubby from attacks from "the vast right wing conspiracy " .

She took advantage of being wife of Bill Clinton to run for Senate in one of the bluest states . She served a whole term before jumping into the race for President .She has served in five Senate committees with nine subcommittee assignments.
She has coauthored some legislation and even got some of them passed.
She wrote a couple of books . She has proven adept at getting campaign contributions from unsavory characters and from an assortment of Chinese sources .

Ex , at this point biggest factor determining my support is going for the candidate that best could beat Hillary in the general election . I do not think there is any room amongst conservative supporters of Republicans to quibble . Every time they do they shoot themselves in the foot. They must really be happy that they made a statement in the 2006 elections and ushered in Speaker Pelosi's reign .

There is a good article today in The American Spectator that argues that conservatives made a similar mistake in 1986 costing the Republicans control of the Senate and as a result the selection process for SCOTUS . The American Spectator

The same will happen 10 fold if Hillary is elected along with the Democrats sweeping the Congress. There are at least 3 justices hanging on waiting to retire after the 2008 election .I think it is critical for conservatives that a Republican is in office to select the replacements.

    Hello again, tom:

I agree that the MOST important legacy of the next pres will be his/her selections to the Supreme Court.

I don't know how she did it, but she did.
I think I do . Her opponents in the primaries are afraid to take her on because of the fear of losing Bill Clinton's support if they happen to win the nomination. The fear of the Clinton machine cannot be over stated .

It is the primary reason that Al Gore decided to sit this one out. Secretly the Dems are afraid of a Hillary run because of her negatives ;but they are too afraid to do anything about it. www.kansascity.com | 10/13/2007 | Some Democrats fear a Clinton nomination could hurt other party candidates

    Hello again, tom:

    I again, agree.

Like Karl Rove, the Clintons KNOW how to win campaigns. Like George Bush, once they win it, the Clintons don't know what to do with it.

I agree, she has never run a business. She hasn’t run a state. She hasn’t run a city. She has never run anything; so running the country would be an internship for her.:D

Her first Senate campaign ad said "First she became a lawyer." That about wraps it up.
