    THC in new hair.
I have a hair follicle drug test coming up. I used to smoke a lot of weed, but I've recently quit so I could get a job. They offered me the position, and informed me that I would have to take a urine test and a hair follicle test. I knew I could pass the urine test but was unsure about the hair test. So what I did was cut all of my hair off, so that they couldn't test it, hoping that they would hire me without taking the hair test. It backfired. They told me that I had 45 days to let my hair grow, and then they would test it. I am not planning on smoking any weed before then.

    My question is...

Will there be any THC in my new growing hair?

    Yup!
    You recently quit?
The hair folicle test is capable of detecting for at least three months but can show for up to a year or so.
