    Tax rate on Foreign equity trading
    If an individual residing in india is doing trading in foreign equity say NASDAQ of USA.
    Then what is percentage rate for income tax applicable for such earnings.

    Short term rate is your marginal tax rate.

    Long term rate (more than one year) is either 5% or 15%.

    For a Non-Resident, it is zero. You pay no US tax on the gains.
