It is beautiful here today in Chicago, 72 degrees, very sunny, no clouds and tomorrow is to be the same.

Stopped in for a break... trying to get some of the carpets cleaned today--man I waited too long. It's tough getting some of the traffic lanes cleaned...

Oh well... guess no one is listening so... back to work.

It's cold and rainy in Idaho. I'm hunting down stocks, pink sheets to invest in. A little scary right now since this is the annivesry of Black Monday and the Dow slid 360. History never repeats itself but it sure does rhyme from time to time. Oh well, no guts no glory, or Mercedes.

    Too many projects! That's good!
We had some winds here and I had to pull a very large Banana Palm out of the pool... pine straw everywhere! Always something to tinker with! Hehe
I always wonder if it'll clear enough tonight to justify moving the telescope out onto the back patio... or if I can stay awake till my eyes adjust to the dark... Thing's to do!

Hi Capt & Firm... I wouldn't have done the carpet cleaning ifin' anyone was on here! But no... I had to use all my old man energy, now I'm sweating up a storm here. However, I did get most of the carpets upstairs done--looks great. Still have the loft and 2 bedrooms left up there... maybe tomorrow---no I am going to give my Bears ONE MORE CHANCE!

Maybe next week I'll get it done before my wife is back on Thursday--I think she will be surprised that I did it AND did it well.

Gee Whizz! When I lived in Denver, I had a neighbor who was blind, but had a workshop! He would go out to his workshop while I was tippin' a few at dark... He wouldn't turn on the lights... He didn't need to! I was so worried about one night hearing a blood curdling scream from over there!! It never happened (he knew what he was doing! ) One day I mentioned this to him, and he laughed and promised me that from now on, he would turn the light switch on to calm me down...
