    Probation Violation
    Hey everybody, I'm 19 and I got a ticket for possession/consuming alcohol because I'm underage. Im on probation for a year. Do you think they will violate me? Do you think they will automatically know? If so, why do they make you report everything? Just to double check? It was only a ticket and I don't have to report that. The reason I ask is because its just a minor ticket that I will be fined for and the charge maybe thrown out. If I get violated I will be sent back to Virginia kicked out of college and face jail time. Am I better off fighting the charge, pleading not guilty or just pay the fine and see what happens. The problem with pleading not guilty is the cop has me breathing a .3. A good lawyer may be able to get me off because I was with other adults who claimed the alcohol was theirs and it was not that close to me. The only problem is the breathalyzer. Maybe some medicines can cause that I don't know.:(
