    Child support
 Arizona guidelines state that we as the legal or custodial parent can not refuse parenting time for the other parent(s) if their child support is in non payment for over a year, but what is it that we can do to them? I've even go to the lengths to contact Department of Economic Security for child support enforcement in my area and I always get the run around. What can I do!

Child support and visitation are kept separate in most jurisidictions. So you can't use visitation as a leverage to ensure support. However, there are other resources to help you enforce a support order. Try googling Child support enforcement for more.

You need to contact your local child support office... and demand that something be done. Child support offices are overloaded with cases, so if they think you aren't going to fight about it they will say anything to get you off the phone. Go down there and demand to speak to a supervisor... that always works for me :)

Many things can be done... if you push for it. My experience is in Ohio. My daughters dad has had his drivers license supended numerous times. And recently he was picked up on a warrant for his no-show to our court date when I pushed child support to hold him in contempt for not following the support order (not telling them when he switched jobs, or moved, non-payment etc). He was found guilty of contempt of a child support order. The amount he pays towards his back child support was raised... and if he misses ONE payment he will be spending 30 days in jail.

You just have to push... go down there and demand something be done.
