    Gas Fireplace Pilotlight
    The pilotlight goes out after I light it, what could be the problem?

    Sounds like a bad thermo coupling to me

    It is probably either a bad thermocouple, or you are not holding the pilot button in long enough after lighting. Usually you have to hold it for 30-45 seconds.

    If you don't have a strong pilot flame that is hitting the termocouple a new thermocouple will not do you any good. You will need to clean the pilot assembly a lot of dust will settle down inside it blocking the flow of gas.
