    Car problems
I have a 98 oldsmobile cutlass and I started to smell antifreeze. I checked the heater core and it was fine. Now I losing it but can't see where. I have checked the radiator and hoses but nothing. There is some in a pocket on the engine and that would explain why I smell it. The main hose goes into the thermostate and I thiink it is coming from that area. Is that a possibility and if not where could it be coming from. Thank you all so much. My last post was answered and that was the problem.

A gasket or seal may be seeping. A high visibility dye can be added to the cooling system and then pressure testing should be done. Possilbly the thermostat seal or the intake or head gasket is failing. There are several O-rings on the engine that could also contribute to leakage.

I have a 1986 Honda Accord that will not start. Dead to the world. When I turned it on it jumped forward and then I heard a "pop" sound. When I tried to start it again it was completely dead. No noises whatsoever. What could it be and electrical wire loose or a fuse?
