    Probably several reasons... but Chitown is a play on "(Chi)cago town... best guess Mag.

    "Hog butcher for the world", now there is a good one. I always related it to Shy-town for some reason although I have been there and no one was shy. As far as "windy city, when I was there it was so dam hot if the wind had been blowing it would have seared your skin off.
