:(hi I'm chrissy whitehead. I am 14 years old. I live in newburgh Indiana. I'm looking for my birth parents. I don't know any other way to find them. I know my birthmoms name is lisa johnson. I don't know my dads name. He doesn't know I exsit. She never told him. She was in a fight with her husband and apperantly had sex with another man. Which led to me. She already had another kid at the time. Her husband found out, and lisa put me up for adoption, 1- because she was poor and couldn't raise two children, and 2- she was afraid her husband would beat me. So she met my parents that I am living with now. They adopted me. One problem is I don't even know if she has enough money for a computer, let alone a cell phone to get ahold of me. My parents that I am living with now took a picture of her, and she had never even seen a camera. That shows how poor she is. My parents that I am living with now are loving, (along with my sister) but.. they sometimes hurt me physically. I am seeing a therapist for all my current problems. I know none of this is lisa's fault. She thought she was giving me to a good family. If only she knew them better. How can I find her? Please, help me. :(

Learn to be happy in the family you have been given, when you are older you can look if you want,

I am sorry honey, but until you are 18 you can't find her.
And as for your family, if they are abusing you... talk to someone who can help!

BUT like FR_Chuck said... You have been giving a family and you said yourself that the parents you live with are loving.. I am not sure why loving parents would hurt you physically... so your story doesn't line up.
Either they are a good family or they are not.
