    Gyno exam
    I am scared:( ! I don't what a guy looking at my vagina!:o
    How long and wide is the speculum?
    Please Help asap

    The first exam is a little frightening and overwhelming, but it is over in about 5 minutes.

    Male doctors in the GYNO field don't see your vagina as anything but that... a vagina. They don't see it in a sexual way. It's all medical and health related.
    If you are really worried, get a woman gynocologist.

    They doctor has different sizes of speculums... depending on your frame. If you are small they will use a small speculum etc.
    The best advice I can give you is to relax, be calm, and breath. The more you tighten up the more uncomfortable it will be. If you let your legs relax and your muscles relax, it is a very easy and quick exam.
