Help! I've just had the bathroom replaced and now every morning I have a brownish water come out the bath tap.It only comes out the hot tap only the bath and only for 10 secs any ideas?

The brown water is iron oxide,(rust) in your hot water due to mineral buildup in the water heater that's built up to the point of getting sucked up into your system and now it's coming out of your hot water faucets. You're going to hafta pay more attention to the water heater. Let me show you how.
For long life and fewer troubles you should keep your heater clear of mineral build-up by flushing on a regular schedule. Attach a hose to the boiler drain at the bottom of the tank. With the pressure on, open the boiler drain and let it run until the water runs clear. You will see a spurt of red,(rust) followed by white or yellow grains,(lime or calcium carbonate). This shouldn't take more then a few minutes. Do this monthly to keep it clear. Don't forget to flush it out every month. Your heater will thank you for it. Hope this helps, Tom

Thanks for the advice, just to let you know I have a combi boiler.This did not happen before the new bath went in and was moved.Thanks again

Then the rust got in your system when the hot water pipes were disturbed during the change over and installation of the new bath. The solution would be to flush out the pipes and supplies. And it's still a good idea to flush out your boiler. If you had mineral buildup in the pipe walls think what you must have in your boiler. Good luck, Tom
