    Well water pump
Woke up this morning and had no water. The pressure gage on pump tank reading 0 pressure. How do I go about primeing the pump? Do I need to leave a faucet on in the house as I do this?

First check the breaker box to be sure you have power to the pump. If you need to prime the pump you will find a plug, (or perhaps a pressure gage) on top of the impeller housing. Remove it and fill until it overflows. Turn the pump on and see id you have pressure. You do not have to open a fcaucet to prime a pump. Good lucl, Tom

We are assuming that your pump is above ground. Is that the case? May sound like a dumb question, but some people have submersible pumps and think they need priming when they don't.
