    Roommate\Dogs
I recently purchased a house and my roommate from previous rental moved in with me. I didn't ask her to sign a lease or a rental agreement. She has a dog and I have a dog. Recently she had some people over and one of her friends put her face in front of the dogs and she almost got snipped at. So that got me thinking of how I could be liable if someone got bit by either my dog or her dog. Especially if I'm not here.

Thanks in advance for any info.

By the way - I live in Florida.

Make sure your homeowner's insurance provides coverage for your dogs.

This is covered by your home owner's liabilty. Your roomie should also have renter's insurance (even if there is no lease). Talk to your insurance agent about what coverage you have.
