Don't know what to do
I Have 3 Children Which Are All Boys.my Two Twin Boys That Are 6 Years Old Have Been Diagnosed With Adhd/learning Disabilitys 3 Years Ago.they Are Both On Medication For Their Hyperness.ever Since I Can Remember They Have Always Been Violent,disrespectful Towards Myself And Others.it Gets Worse As Each Year Goes By.they Hit Their 2 Year Old Brother For No Reason Sometimes To The Point Where He Starts Bleeding.there Also Very Violent With Each Other.I Don't Know What To Do Anymore.we Attend Counseling Every Week Together.I'm Very Involved With Their Schooling.but Nothing Seems To Be Changing.it's Gotten So Bad I Can't Get Anyone To Watch Them While I Work Which Resulted In Me Having To Quit My Job,does Anyone Have Any Advice On What My Next Step Should Be?any Advice Would Be Appreciated.

Jedssicat, I am the sister of identical twins, and I have 4 sets of identical twins cousins. When twin boys are together all the time they seem to have no sense of personal identity. So they do not take responsibility for their own actions as they should. I suggest sending them to different schools. And going to therapy individually. My twin brothers both stated as adults they felt they were treated as a unit, and not as individuals. Conscience and accountability is a personal thing. They need to take personal responsibility. Also, as a Mom of a son with ADHD and hyperactivity, I kept that child very busy with physical outlets. He practically lived on his bicycle, played outdoors as much as possible with children his age. Have you taken parenting classes? Giving them solid consistency and definite limits will help break through their bad behavior. Please find a counselor who teaches parenting skills. Most counselors will work on a sliding scale if money is an issue.

As a kid I know really well what to do. Send them each to a different room when they act up and don't let them out except for dinner. Do they have sepret bedrooms? If so make them go to sleep and keep this process going until they can go a day without misbeaving as cerisa said send them to seperet schools.
