    Honda Accord Factory Cd player
    Hi there...

I have a 2001 Honda Accord with a factory installed CD player. I want to connect another device (iPod) the audio auxiliary input of the stereo. I know the factory stereo has a 16pin data cable (I'm using a converter to use the RCA connectors)

What I want to know is isn't there some kind of a code or something that needs to be entered when the In-dash cd player will be reinstalled after I have done all the wiring etc. I want to find out where I can find that code that I will need to enter.

Doing this for the first time... sorry if I sound lame??

U will need a code if you disconnect the connector at the back of the cd player or disconnect the battery. The only way you could get the code is from the dealer and you will need the serial number of the cd player. They will charge you for this not sure how much.

The easiest answer since no one is helping with directions to do exactly as you wish, is to buy an FM transmitter that plugs into your MP3 and transmits the music to your radio set to say 88.1 FM and you listen to your music over the radio speakers.

I use a Belkin Tunecast to listen to movies from my laptop in the car through the car audio system. I bought it from the MP3 and iPod section at the store.
