I went out with this girl for a year and a half.. from the beginning she was attentive and wanted nothing more than to be with me... she showered me with compliments... constant emails and text. Although I wary at the beginning as most people are with a stranger I wanted nothing more than to be with her too.. after about 3 months. It was almost like an addiction we saw each other almost every day and then one day it went down hill...

Verbal abuse, criticisms on my character and family, friends...

People can appear to be something they are not but how can someone who supposedly cares for you turn on you and make you feel like hell.

She may either have been going through bad times and decided to take it all out on you, or she just lost that feeling of always wanting to be close to you and started searching for the faults in you. Finding out that someone isn't what you thought is a terrible experience, trust me; I'm going through the same thing. Anyway, take time away from her, away from the things that remind you of her, clear your mind, you will find that there must be decisions made on both sides that lead to this. From the way you wrote it seems like you know there is no way to fix this. Remember, things that start fast end fast...
But don't worry, and don't stay in your misery too long, you'll be addicted to another girl soon enough, and hopefully, it'll last.
