    To be frank, the answer is no. the best way to prevent mold is in your finish, if you use a cheap paint then expect a cheap result. I would suggest that you properly prep you surface with two coats of a good primer, then buy an exterior paint with mildewcide additive in it, and paint on two coats of your color. If not you can always buy the additive from you local paint store. One more bit of advice don't by your paint from a box store, they don't really know there job and will sell you anything just to shut you up,find a paint company in your phone book. It may costs you a couple of bucks more but most will stand by what the sell you and they give good advice. If you feel like they are leading you on ask one of the many contractors standing around for some advice, the good one are always willing to help.

    A concrete siding would be best, but mold will grow were it is damp and shady
    A mold resistant paint will help

    From my research all sidings have mold issues, because there are over 10,000 different types of mold spores outside floating in the air that when attached to your siding will continue to multiply until you have black spots and a mold problem.
