    Flees in the apartment
    Hi my name is gladys duran and my question is as follow my husband n me lived with our baby in a two bedroom apartment but decided to get a one bedroom in the same complex, we were moving on the weeked n noticed the apartment was infested with flees we waited over the weekend to speak with some one at the office they call a pest control person to spray the apartment but now all of our things have flees specially our furniture. The pest control had told one of the office person not to move any one in that apartment until all flees were killed but they still let us moved in. My baby has been bitten so many times now can u please tell me what can I do

    You can have the place fumigated but if I was you,with a baby and all I would get a place to stay for a night.you don't want to expose yourselves to chemicals.years ago we had fleas really bad. We dipped our dogs and bombed the house and finally got rid of them. Vacuum every day and put borax under your furniture but don't let any pets or children touch it because it can be harmful if eaten.

    If you can prove they let you move in despite the pest control service's warning, you can get them to pay for a hotel, until the apartment is truly cleaned.

    Be sure they use a product that kills the flea eggs too or you will have a new crop within 2 weeks.
