    How do I reseat the memory in my Sharp laptop?

    You could do this by one of two ways.
    Firstly, you could insert the windows CD and reinstall windows, this will wipe all of the memory off your computer and reset it. Just make sure that you back anything up that you wish to keep before you do this.
    Secondly, you could try switching your laptop on and press F12 continuously until you are prompted to a screen to reset factory settings, although this does not work with all laptops so there is no guarantee that it will work with yours.
