    Stolen Income Tax
My mother ex-boyfriend fills out our tax return. We were staying in his house until my mother went to prison. When she went to prison my boyfriend and I moved out. So when it came time for my income tax to come. He tells me that I am not getting anything back because he is keeping my money to pay for a light bill that my mother left. And I want to know if there is anything that I can do to get my money back. It went direct deposit in his account. I told him that I wanted a check

You can try suing him in small claims court. But if you lived in his house and didn't pay for services you used, he may have a case.

I tend to agree that your boyfriend may have a case. He provided you free room and board.

You have no recourse with the IRS if you signed the return knowing it would direct deposited into HIS account.
