    Installing dishwasher in a island
    How do I hook up a drain line for a dishwasher in a island there is no sink in island

    Hoo boy! Are you ever into major surgery. You might just as well install a sink because the hookup's the same. Both the drain and a dry vent will have to be cut into and the lines run over to the island. Your dishwasher will connect to the right hand sanitary tee. Good luck, Tom

    Yes, providing there's nothing's draining into the pipe that you're connecting the island loop vent to and that pipe vents the drain. Are you saying that the only traps that you have are "S" traps? Regards, Tom
