    How does air bubbles clinging to the surface of a solid affect the density of that solid

    I don't know if bubbles "clinging" to it's surface would affect the density, but it could perhaps affect buoyancy

    It wouldn't affect the density of the solid, but would effect the density of the new solid-bubble system.
