Change shift at job or not?
I have a chance to go from my weekend shift(fri, sat and sun7pm-730am) to a day shift. It would mean every weekend off, normal sleeping hours and being able to spend time with family and friends. Also it may mean possibility of finding a relationship with someone. The only drawback is the cut in pay. I would be losing about $850 per month. Would anyone out there make that change even if it meant losing money?

I can sympathize. I work the same shift. I went to days and I learned that "the grass is always greener"!! I am now back on Graveyard. I like having all week off, but yes it is hard swapping back and forth on sleep patterns with this shift. The money is not that big of a difference, because when I swapped to days... I got more than the usual 36 hrs. There are several pros and cons to it... but in the end I like being able to work at my own pace and not have to deal with as many people.
