    Chevy cavalier engine
    My wife's cavalier has a Dead third cylinder and her mechanic says a new engine is in order. Cou.ld it be anything else? Thanks, Bill.

    If you have a coil-on-plug setup, check coil and spark plug. Also, check the Ignition Control Module, which AutoZone can test for free.
