    Pelvis spreading?
Hey ladies! Last night after having sex with dh around 2:45 I had some pretty good contractions. I figured it was pretty normal for the circumstances. They hurt pretty good, but the worst pain was in my tailbone and hips. It was almost as if I could feel the baby's head trying to move through my pelvic bones, pressing on my tailbone. The contractions obviously lessened, but I had cramping until about 8 this morning. I was up a lot drinking water, walking, and going to the bathroom. The cramping would stop with walking and change of position, but my hips still hurt really bad. After about 45 min of sleep I would wake up again to some pain, go to the bathroom, walk, go back to sleep. Well, this morning all the cramping is completely gone, but my entire pelvic bone and tailbone feel bruised! There's some pressure when I stand that I didn't have before. Is it normal for your pelvis to spread so rapidly? I'd never heard of this happening to anyone else. Guess this was my body's way of saying start getting ready... I just hit 30 weeks yesterday! Thanks in advance for any input!
