    How long does a person have before getting evicted?
    My sister is losing her house because of a bad divorce. Anyhow, how long does she have once she receives the letter of eviction. She lives in Palm Beach County Florida.

    When my dad evicts people they get 30 days I think it is.

    It can be as little as 72 hours. That is what the notice's around here are - the Sheriff comes and either posts it on your door (if you are not home) or hand delivers the notice to you.
