    Crazy vibration
    I have a vibrating sound , but I don't feel a vibration. It appears to be in the walls between one of my bedrooms and the bathroom. This house was built in the late forties . Am I in any danger and is thing going to explode and more importantly what is going on and can it be fix.

    Could be just an airlock in the pipe,causing what is called water hammer.Does it only happen when you are running water?

    Next time you get the vibrating sound, peek in the toilet tank and see if the water in the tank is shimmerring. Lift the float and see if it stops. If so, you eithor need to replace flapper or fill valve or both.
