    Unmarried couple rights
    My best friend and her boyfriend have a child together - he is on the birth certificate as the father and she wants to leave him due to drug abuse, stealing from her, etc - can she take the child out of state without any issues?

    Has nothing to do with being married, it is a matter of what the child custody agreement says.
