    What do I do?
I'll be 17 n a month and my girlfriend turned 16 she found out she is pregnant we want to get married and take care of the baby. My parents want to help us and support us but hers want her to have an abortion. They don't like me and won't let her see me. So she wants to move in with me because her parents don't want anything to do with it. But we don't know if its legal. She doesn't want an abortion at all. So what do I do..

Tell her parents this is your problem and to let you guy's deal with it... tell them as a young man who made the decision to have sex you will now take full responsibility for your actions... prove to them you are willing to stick it out for the long haul.

    Hi
I think an abortion is still an option as your both still very young and have your whole life ahead of you to have kids at a later stage in life. Your parents know best and are only trying to help. Hopefully this helps

Personally, I know for a fact that getting married for the sake of the baby is very often a mistake. You can raise your child together without rushing to the altar, so think heavily about that before you decide.
If however you chose to marry... it depends on which state you live in, so check local laws. In almost all, anyone under 18 has to have parental consent to get married. Some will allow a child to marry IF a doctor certifies that she is pregnant. Basically, you're both 16 and about to become parents. You won't be able to do this without help so you both have to sit down with the 'rents and talk about your upcoming life change. It will be hard, but you'll be better off if you can get both sides of the family to come together on this.

    Good luck

First of all her parents can not force her to have an abortion, so you are safe there. The only thing they can do is persuade her, and if she is strongly against it, the abortion clinic will not perform. As for the marriage thing, I also agree on waiting. Get used to the baby first then focus on your commitment to each other, marrying solely for a child is rarely a good move, and one or the other may resent it later.

Her parents cannot make her have an abortion. It is her decision. However, not having her parents support will be hard but it can be done. I don't think you should get married yet. You are young and you will regret getting married just because she is pregnant. If she was not pregnant would you still want to get married right now? Think about it. You can still be there for your child without being married, and later down the road if you still feel the same way then you can get married.
