    Sick and heart burn
    I am only five and a half weeks pregnant and I am very sick no matter what I eat I I keep heart burn what can I do for this?

    Some people just can't get rid of morning sickness no matter what they do, but some people do have luck with sipping Ginger Ale and eating Saltine Crackers.

    For the heartburn I always just took some Tums and I felt much better. :)

    Cold milk might help with the heartburn.

    When I was pregnant my heartburn was so bad I would get sick from even drinking water, I lived on tums, I slept sitting up, drank milk, only had water, crackers- no salt, I tried it all... and it just got worse towards the end. Finally I got prevacid from my doc. It was instant relief. I could eat, lay down, and it didn't feel like my throat was on fire.
    I was'nt too big on taking any type of med. While pregnant, but I couldn't handle the pain anymore.
    Anyway, it saved me.
