What's a good nutrition supplement?
Hello. Well I've never been good at taking the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables everyday, nearly my whole life. Some of it is becase there's lots of vegetables or fruits which I'm not quite fond of, even though I try. So overall, my health hasn't been at its best, since like I was a child. I'd like to know if any of you can recommend a fruit and veggie supplement, maybe in the form of pills, liquid or powder, that you have tried and has worked. Such as a good brand or something.
I've been low in energy for quite a while now, and want to incorporate the essential nutrients which I've been lacking.
Any suggestions??
P.S. Also one that is sort of on the budget side?

Wal mart brand vitamin C.
Also I use the Stess Tabs brand multi vitamin.
The Stress tabs is very high in quite a few different vitamins. Now the first week to week and a half, it made me feel tired. Then I got an extra amount of energy that is there all the time. The Stress tabs says on the bottle, "for those who burn the candle at both ends".
And has a picture of a candle burning on both ends on the box also. I take the grey colored label.

Well the veggies and fruits you aren't taking contain a lot of the things your body needs like anti-oxidants. So in your case, taking the correct supplement is very important. Choosing the correct supplement for you will take some looking into to so here's some tips that will help! Really read the supplements and look for these things, or ask your pharmasist for some help getting a product that has these:
Make sure the supplement you take is "Complete", so you don't have to take 2 or 3 different kinds.
Choose a supplement that is "Bioavailable", this means the majority of the ingredients are absorbed by your body.
Use one that has "Natural Ingredients", No artificial preservatives, dyes or allergens, only natural ingredients.
"Labortory Tested"- This confirms that the supplement contains exactly what the label says.
Chelated Supplements- This are where many of the nutrients are bound to each other and act as "buddies" till the nutrients reach your bloodstream. This helps with the absorption into the body.
And keep on any supplements for 1 month, before giving up on a particular brand, it take that long for any positive results to show, (i.e increase in energy... )

I have been taking vitamins & supplements from Melaleuca. They are natural & are fructose componded.
Fructose Compounding is a way to bind minerals into the inside of a fruit sugar
Molecule. Every physician and every diabetic knows that the human body absorbs virtually 100% of all the sugar that goes into the body.
This patented process provides the only known way for minerals to be absorbed directly into human cells.
I feel better, have more energy & actually am off all prescription medications I was taking for depression & anxiety since using their supplements.

Can a Vitamin C supplement replace eating fruit?

I don't eat much fruit (okay, lets face it, I don't eat fruit) but I take a 500mg supplement a day in Vitamin C. Will this help where I don't eat fruit? I have always heard an apple a day keeps the doctor away and have heard Vitamin C will help fight cancer.
