Hmm, I don't know if this helps, but what I do (since my hair is completely straight) is I take a shower at night, and put just some cheap plastic rollers in my hair, and sleep in them, in the morning, your hair's a little wet but just let it air dry, or blow dry it, and those curls do not let up all day. I have to do this because my hair won't curl in a curling iron, it's really stubborn! The rollers kind of hurt at night, but for me it's worth it!

There are different ways for different likings. First, there I'd the plaits. You plait your hair the night before then you wake up the next day and spray. Then take out the plaits. You've got nice and small curves plus add some hair cream to add volume. You can also use a defusser which will give you nice and messy curves that looks great. I prefer the hot rollers look that is affordable and looks great. You might need someone to help you roll on the rollers in an anti-cloclwisr direction. Spray on hair spray to volumise the look. Do the same with defusser. Head bands look great on the defusser and hot rollers and leave a side frindge at the front.tie a side pony tail and then curl using the methods above to receive quick treatment. I hope this works good luck!

You could try a 3/8 inch Marcel curling iron you can buy at a beauty supply store.
The smaller the better. The ones they sell in the retail stores generally are to fat for a good curl. You have to be careful not to burn your hair holding the curl too long or using it too often
