    Shower Diverter
Hello- We have a free standing claw foot tub and installed a shower ring about a year ago. We have had problems with our shower diverter before, and it had turned out that the o ring was old. Now this time after changing the o ring on the diverter ( pull up has a black little o ring and a cream somewhat circular plastic device that attaches to the pull bar) it still doesn't work. You pull it up, some water comes through on all the shower head spouts but not enough to take a shower. I would like to wash my hair :) just wondering if anyone knew a quick fix before going to the hardware store to see if anyone else knows, thanks for any answers!

Are we talking about a diverter spout or a diverter in the valve body? Tom

There was initially a piece missing (black rubber gasket type fitting) from the back of the diverter assembly, but now that this piece has been added the assembly either...

Shower Diverter [ 1 Answers ]

The water in my shower comes out mostly from the tub faucet and not the shower faucet (which I assume is a problem with the diverter) but what I don't understand is that the water pouring out of the tub end is scalding hot, while the water coming out of the shower end is only warm. Then they both...

Shower diverter? [ 6 Answers ]

When I turn on the water, then go to turn the faucet (wall type diverter with spring) for the shower, the water still comes out of the spout and just about half of the water comes out of the shower head. I have already replaced the diverter with a new one (much stronger spring as the old spring was...

Having trouble with the shower. More water coming out of faucets than the shower. We replaced the diverter but this did not help. Any other ideas. Thanks Jo D.
