The water pressure in my kitchen sink dropped to very low what can I check or do. The rest of my home has good water pressure. This started about 2 weeks ago.

I always start at the sink with any isolated pressure problem I ussually chech the aerator on the end of the spout first. It amazes me how often these clog at least in my area.(lots of wells in the surrounding area). Although I have seen older homes on city water do it as well. The next thing I usually check are the supply valves. I use along piece of flexible supply line hooked up to the valve after removing sink line and a clear jar. THis not only lets me see how much is being delivered but how it looks as well (clear, rusty, full of crud etc.) If you have adequate pressure from your supply lines you might want to check the faucet itself by removing the faucet valves and inspecting for trash. This is how I usually start others may have other ideas but it has worked for me many times.

REMINDER: Don't forget to shut down the water before disconnecting lines or working with the valves. Good luck!
