    Email identity
    Dear Sir,

It so happened that some aleck, while the boss was away from his chamber, barged into already opened gmail mailbox and tampered with settings and inserted two mail ids so all his incoming emails may be forwarded to the inserted ids. Now we would like to identify the person operating these mail ids or at least the ip address from where these ids were either created or are being operated. The two email ids inserted are: [email protected]; [email protected] The tampered mail box's email Id is [email protected]

Can you gentlemen help in indentifying the culprit?

    Reagards,
    Masaoud.

Even if you talk to Yahoo and gmail, I don't think that they will offer you his personal details...

You give an excellent example of why it is important to log off your email account if you are not with the computer.

It would be someone with access to the building and if someone barged into his "chamber" then someone must have saw this happen, so what did he look like.

But the main thing is to merely go into the account and cancel the other identities.

    Dear Moderator,

Actually, we are talking about the office, the entire sales staff sits on the same floor and people walking and walkout of the bosses chamber on some pretext or other. The identities have been deleted, but the we wish to identify the holder of these two listed email ids. So we may know the culprit!

    Regards,

Not going to happen. Yahoo would not give up personally identifiable info for an event caused by someone's careless security practices. If you had an email from those addresses you'll only get as far as the mail server IP from the header info.
