    Chapter 7 and merchandise
    When filing chapter 7 does the creditor want the items back that was charged on their card?

    Too many factors involved, from terms of the specific card, items bought, the time frame from when the item was bought to when you filed. You buy it today and file tomorrow, they may ask the court not to even allow it for reasons of fraud.

    You need to sit down with an attorney and go over each debt one at a time.
