This isn't about me..
I have this friend..
She keeps asking for advice but I don't know what to say.
Her problems are:
Parents are divorced.
Parents fight all the time.
Brothers don't talk to mom.
Mom is an alchohalic.
Lose's more and more friends everyday.
Had this guy that she went out with for a year, swore she was in love, that hates her.
Best friend moved away last week.
Asked to leave a school for missing to many days of school because of her being sick, they don't want her there.
Her brother is going to college.
Her dad never is at the home, always with his girlfriend.
Her mom verbally abuses her.
She thinks drugs and alchohal help..
She's a good girl.
This girl is thirteen.
She is not afraid of ANYTHING.
I don't know what to do about her..
If anyone has any advice, please help.

Two thoughts: one, I can't imagine a school "doesn't want her" because of absences. That's where she *needs* to be.

Two, sounds like social services/ child protection services are no-brainer avenues to start with.

She will no doubt t reject them, but the more she is surrounded by people looking out for her, the better off she will be long term.

Really, she needs to move into a sane/ peaceful setting -- preferably a favorable relative.

That's a good thing is it?

Later she will realize how important going to college is and she will hear wonderful stories on making friends in college and learn things around you, learn people and learn about the universe.

It will be all good.

MY POINT IS TO SEE BEAUITFUL THINGS AND SEE THINGS BEAUTIFULLY. I have been choosing to see things this way.:)

There is only so much you will be able to do for her since you are most likely not in an adult role (am I correct)?

Is there anyone at school who are trust and can speak to about this girl? Child protective services clearly needs to intervene here as this girl is in a very dangerous environment.

All you can do is a be a good friend and try to encourage her to stop using drugs and alcohol. Anyway you can spend more time with her? Have her at your house to hang out? Maybe give her a safe haven of sorts.
