    Why do you want 220 V?? they do have step up transformer

    If this is in the USA, the voltage is 240 volts, no such thing as 220 volts in residential.

    Need to know the amperage of the device or appliance that needs 240 volts.

    This will rate the size circuit breaker and wire.

    Just changing an outlet from 120 to 240 volts is not sufficient.
