    Sewer/methane odor after installing replacement toilet
    I just replaced the toilet and now have a sewer/methane odor continuously. Nothing was changed or affected other than the toilet. Can you suggest a reason for this and a way to fix the problem? Thank you.

    Did you make sure to remove all of the old wax ring and use a new one with the installation?

    The wax ring was damaged on installation.
