    Black marks
I am 56 years of light brown complection, and have very embarrassing black marks around my eyes and on my cheeks, used lotion to remove them, they disappeared but the sunlight has caused more damage. They have re-appeared darker and have spread further. I am very worried and am at a lost as to what I should use so the marks can go away permanently, and if they do what should I do so the sun would not cause them to reappear.

The dark marks can be treated with bleaching creams. You can use over-the-counter creams containing 2% hydroquinone or kojic acid. Use it twice a day for about 2 months. Be sure to apply a sunscreen before you go outdoors. If you don't see any improvement after 2 months, please consult a dermatologist for a treatment that's right for you.

I have tried 2 different sets of bleaching creams, the marks went way and reappeared worse from time time after being in the sun and even though I used sun screen. My face is in a state. I am using concealer now.
