Credit card judgement
I received court papers that was being sued for credit card debt. I went to bankruptcy attorney who advised me to file general denial answer, which I did with county clerk in TEXAS. I decided not to file bankruptcy. The attorney offered settlement but I couldn't pay so I ignored the calls. Now I got a certified letter (but no one was here to sign?) that is call plantiffs motion for summary judgement and brief. Will I get notice to go to court. I want to meet with mediator and get payment arrangement if possible. They can not garnish wages in Texas but can take my bank account. Any advise? Should I call attorney again and ask for different payment plan.
